Oct 18, 2004 -- Well, Bernie! I was not only "not disappointed with 1004," rather by the evening of the first day I had called my wife to report that we had more than received stellar ROI. And that proved to be the understatement of the year. The remainder of the Forum I could easily concentrate on giving out of the abundance of an overflowing cup. And that proved to accelerate the increase, as you had been proclaiming. My goal is to personally shepherd 36 high-level leaders/clients into Free Enterprise Forum over the next 12 months, newspaper publishers, talk show hosts, business owners. (Leaving on Sunday, I had 30 mins at the airport, stopped to see the Broncos game, struck up a conversation with "How may I help your company achieve next level performance?" with a couple of franchisers, and immediately had three contacts for them, including Mark for franchise consulting and Jill for PR, and a fervent request for follow-up with my own consulting services.) Certainly, this was not simply a string of seminars. I own a training company. This was not merely power networking on steroids. I am a member in two Chambers, and facilitate Chambers' annual strategic planning retreats around the country. I know networking. This is community! Where healing and life and trust and hope flow freely--backed by solid business systems and pragmatic follow-up mechanisms. My awed thanks to you, to your queenly wife, to Gale and Kitty, to every speaker, and especially to all of the behind-the-scenes, editing all night, out-of the-limelight paid staff and volunteer staff who tirelessly orchestrated an event sufficiently regal to be attended in presence by the Creator of the Universe.
