Chris Salter, Allegro Rainbow's CEO, has been carrying the company’s vision - fun meets learning - for quite a long time. With degrees in Linguistics and Music, and a Master's from UCLA Chris is particularly fascinated with how we learn language and how we can learn music.
Although he jokingly calls his company, “one of those overnight sensations,” the fruits that he’s enjoying now are the result of his hard work and good decisions.
In 2001 Chris was introduced to IBI Global. At first he was skeptical that attending the Free Enterprise Forum could help him build his company, but he quickly discovered that it was the depth and breadth of IBI contacts and knowledge that allowed him to raise capital in the middle of the dot-com recession.
Today Allegro Rainbow enjoys partnerships with Fisher-Price, Apple, and SoniVox, to name a few. Their flagship product, Piano Wizard, has won numerous awards including 2006 Top Toy of the Year from Creative Child Magazine.
Even with all of the success that has favored Allegro Rainbow, Chris epitomizes the IBI/CEO Space philosophy of cooperative business practice and seems to always find the time to give back to the CEO Space community of Graduates.
